Al Shaheen Youth Development

Al Shaheen has developed a pioneering Youth Development Program that starts with the students development at school. This Program seeks to encourage the student to develop their own skills regardless of capability, which will help them to develop their own lives with confidence, a sense of belief and more importantly, to understand how they can contribute to society and the development of their Nation

The Program encompasses important Military and Police skills and combines those with essential life skills (emotional intelligence) that will help to shape the students development. These life skills underpin everything that students will do and regardless of career, will make sure that today’s Emirati youth are well equipped to handle the complexities of today’s modern life together with insuring that their own Nation benefits from their combined wisdom. It is the hope of Al Shaheen to pioneer a ‘whole school’ learning experience as the Program develops.

Aside from the school Program, Al Shaheen offers many other youth development initiatives that it believes place it at the forefront of this future generation. Whether, individual counseling, parental child development or an aspiring individual with global talents, Al Shaheen is able to offer today’s Emirati youth several programs to help them develop. These can be from basic self assessment skills right through to international community development programs. These opportunities will furnish the student with life development skills that will also leave a legacy to those communities to which the Emirati youth has contributed to.

The management team of Youth Development comprise of both Emirati and international experts from a number of industries and educational backgrounds. With a proven development expertise, this team employs a number of additional staff that to ensure that any child’s personal development is at the center of their work and, that they have the ability to ‘tune into’ that student’s capabilities and personal growth. The Division strives to create a working ambience that rewards initiative, recognizes effort and above all has a sense of teamwork at its core.
